Web Design

A website is a group of connected webpages containing information provided by a person, business or organization. Usually websites are also connected to other websites. Together, along with the servers that host them, they form the world wide web.

Almost anyone can find a reason to have a website. At the very least, a website can be used for sharing photos with family and friends. Think of how a website would be useful to you. Here are some ideas:

  • Brag about the family
  • Share your crafts and hobbies
  • Post photos of your pets
  • Promote your business
  • Offer products for sale
  • Write how-to articles
  • Hold contests and fundraisers
  • Provide information about your organization or community
  • Tell your story

Websites need not be expensively designed or hosted. It all depends on how many pages and how fancy you want the site to be. My main focus is on small sites of 3-20 pages. I shall be posting samples of my work in the near future.
